Enso TX1B tyre gets approval for LEVC TX electrified London taxis -
Electric vehicle tyre specialist Enso has become an official tyre supplier to LEVC. The tyre supplier's advanced TX1B tyre has been approved as a replacement option for the UK's electrified taxi fleets and individual taxi drivers. The tyre, which Enso calls the first range-extending, double A-rated replacement tyre for electrified taxis, was designed specifically for the LEVC London taxi. The TX1B is already fitted to more than 1,000 London taxis, delivering high durability, safety, and performance, helping to reduce emissions and lower total cost of ownership.

BT Group will be trialling a prototype LEVC's electric van as part of real-world trials. Joining other UK businesses such as Royal Mail, DPD and Octopus Energy, BT has taken delivery of two converted TX electric taxis. Due to the similarities between TX taxi and VN5, LEVC is deploying a fleet of converted TX electric taxis to act as VN5 prototypes, featuring a full interior van conversion ahead of VN5's official production start next month.
